Christmas Lard
I am officially the heaviest I have ever been. I need to make that New Year's resolution to shed the pounds after the holidays. Anyone want to join online Weight Watchers with me?
How did your Wiglia go? Uncle Tommy, MG, Luke, and Julie Rose were here for Wiglia. We had Mushroom Soup, homemade pierogies,(Cheese, sourkrout, and my new recripe, for spinach, mushroom, onion, garlic), Kielbasa, Ham, and 8 different homemade cookies. I usually make 10 to 12different kinds of cookies, but we just moved to the new place, and had to find the oven & the rest of the cookie stuff... Did not make our own Kielbasa this year. U. Tom said we have to make some for Easter.
Uncle Ron & I enjoyed our first Wiglia in our new house. Not like the old days when we entertained till 3 or 4 in the morning with the young Mazur kids.
And thanks to my friend Kelly, I have a whole new tray of cookies to devour! (and it is already half gone!) She bakes better than I do. Maybe next year I'll just contract her to do all my baking for me!
Sounds like you had a nice evening. I'll update you on my Wigilia in a seperate blog entry.
I must say, Aunt Sue, my Christmas Eve memories are so fond. Everything from the dinner spread my mom would put out to the party at your house in the PM. You always knew how to have a good party and it was always so much fun. (Even though I was too young to partake in *all* the festivites)
Our family was formed in Astrakhan, Russia in June 2007. Since then, Jonathan joined the fun in July 2011. Both Madeline and Jonathan keep Mama and Papa running, but each step along the way is an unforgettable, enjoyable adventure.
