Our dear Madeline is the queen of pancakes! She, could eat them for breakfast 7 days a week and probably for lunch and dinner too! Every morning, I ask her, "What would you like for breakfast?" And every morning, the response is the same, "Pancakes" (although she pronounces it "cancakes"). Then several times a week I have to tell Madeline that she just had pancakes the day before and she would have to have something else for breakfast. Luckily, Madeline is pretty good at coming up with an alternative. Just thought I would share the photo from this morning's pancake feast. Yes, the plate is practically licked clean and she is working on getting every last drop of syrup off of her. (Notice, too, the boxes in the background. We are making progress in the packing for our move). Madeline is such a Pancake Piggy that I *had to* buy her the book, "
If You Give A Pig A Pancake". Needless to say, she likes that too!
