Whhhhaawww! Although one of my favorite events of the summer runs for 11 days, it has come and gone.....and I didn't make it there! I recall hearing that the Erie County Fair is one of the country's largest county fairs. I do believe that as you can spend an entire day at the fair and still not see everything there is to see. With all that we have going on, it's no wonder why we couldn't make it to the Fair this year. But......whhhhhawww! So sad!

Erie County Fair
Whhhhaawww! Although one of my favorite events of the summer runs for 11 days, it has come and gone.....and I didn't make it there! I recall hearing that the Erie County Fair is one of the country's largest county fairs. I do believe that as you can spend an entire day at the fair and still not see everything there is to see. With all that we have going on, it's no wonder why we couldn't make it to the Fair this year. But......whhhhhawww! So sad!

You still have time to make the Grange Fair. It's a real, old fashioned fair, with an encampment, animals you can visit and pet, and competitions for everything from pies to livestock to "English pleasuring".
I seem to recall that the Erie County Fair is the oldest in term of continuity in the country
Do I want to know what "English pleasuring" is?
No, but maybe David does.
Seriously, it's a style of horse riding. Though, looking at the first minute or so of this clip, you get the idea of why girls like horse riding so much.
