Technological Love Notes

Thank God It's Friday! All three of us need some regrouping time. It has been a little bit of a revolving door around here lately. Aside from some of Mama-Dirtyfoot's girls' escapes, David's job has been keeping him very busy. This by itself is a good thing for his professional success, but with that comes a little more travel and late nights. Don't get me wrong, I am soooo not complaining. David is very good at what he does and I am proud of him. His hard work and successes are what allows Mama-Dirtyfoot to stay home with Madeline. Nonetheless when things get hectic, we look forward to our weekends and a little breather time as a family. I must say, however, that technology has been a godsend when times get crazy. Cell phones, email, text messages, etc. have made times apart feel, in a way, non-existent. Two nights this week David had evening events that he hosted. When situations like this arise David might leave the house before Madeline awakes and comes home after she goes to bed. On nights like this, silly videos from home and text messages help give virtual hugs on a long day. Here is one Maddie and I made and sent to Papa one late night this week. (We love you Papa and know you miss us when you are gone)

I absolutely LOVE her facial expressions...the anticipation of what you are saying and the excitement in repeating it. So cute!
